Materials: Book, paper, markers

Instructions:

1. Read Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? aloud, emphasizing the animal sounds.

2. Ask children to repeat the sounds and act them out.

3. Have children draw their favorite sound from the story.

4. Discuss how the sounds are different (loud, soft, high, low, etc.).
