A variety of plants for observation: A flowering plant, a climbing plant, a Pothos plant in a water vase and a regular leafy plant.
Magnifying glasses.
Paper and crayons (For drawing observations)
Instructions:
Present different types of plants to children and invite them to explore with their senses: look closely, touch gently, and talk about what they notice.
Encourage children to describe how the plants look, feel, and grow.
Talk together about what makes each plant special or unique and how they grow.
