What stories live inside our city?

Materials:

• Blocks or loose construction materials

• Road pieces or tape for roads (optional)

• Toy figures or small people (optional)

Instructions:

• Invite students to work together to build a city or road.

• Ask each student to build their own house in the city.

• Allow time for students to add details to their house or the city.

• Once the city is complete, invite students to look at the city.

• Ask students to tell a story about their house and what happens in the city.
