Obj: 2c, 8a, 9c, 10a, 10b
Instructions:
Introduce the song “We Are Stars” and explain that the song is about being special, which is another word for unique. Play the song and encourage the children to sing, dance, or move their bodies along with the music.
After the song, invite the children to talk about some of the ways in which they are special. Explain: “Each one of us is unique. That means we are one of a kind. There is no one else exactly like you or me! Let’s play a game to find out what makes us unique.”
Activity: “The Name Game”. Each child will create a special name by combining their first name with their favorite activity or toy (for example: Santiago Trucks or Lucía Paints). Provide pictures of different activities and toys. Each child will choose one and glue it next to their photo on a piece of paper.
To close, discuss the children’s creations as a group. Talk about similarities and differences, highlighting that even if some children like the same things, each person is still special and unique in their own way.
For enrichment: Give each child a small mirror. Invite them to look at themselves carefully and notice what makes them unique.
