Materials:
Sticks (preferably long for space)
PIpe cleaners
Beads / buttons (whatever fits onto the pipe cleaners)
Instructions:
Wrap pipe cleaners around your sticks to make tree-like figures
Have some beads out
Ask children to place beads onto the tree
Ask them to try and make patterns (using different styled beads, colour beads)
Ask them to also count how many beads they used / how many beads on one twig (pipe-cleaner)
