Materials:
Pictures (animals, places, actions: jungle, rain, city, beach, etc.)
Classroom objects (paper, pencils, cups, boxes)
Paper and markers
Instructions:
Show a picture to the students and ask, “What sound can you put to this picture?”
Have children create and repeat the sound using their voice and classroom materials, and encourage them to act it out.
Present different pictures and guide students to produce sounds for each one. Ex: “The car goes vrom vrom”.
Use several pictures to help students create a story, adding sounds as the story develops and discussing how the sounds are different (loud, soft, high, low, etc.).
