Instructions:
Provide construction paper (or paper plates) to each child and ask them to create a mouth that represents a specific emotion from the Feelings Faces Poster.
When the mask is ready, paste a popsicle stick to the back to hold the mask.
Encourage them to act out the emotion to a friend or group using the mask! Remind them to match their eyes to the mask’s emotion.
Switch masks with a friend! And repeat the procedure.
Notice that their friends may respond differently to the same situations.
