Materials:
Small containers with safe items for each sense:
Feel: soft fabric, rough sponge, smooth stone, squishy ball
Smell: orange peel, cinnamon stick, vanilla, soap
Sight: colorful pictures, shiny objects, magnifying glass
Hearing: shaker, bell, crinkly paper, water in a cup
Taste: (safely) apple slice, cracker, raisin, cucumber

Instructions:
Set up stations around the room for each sense (touch, smell, sight, hearing, taste).
Invite children to explore each station, using their senses to discover and describe what they notice.
After trying each station, ask children to act out, tell, or draw a story inspired by something they experienced with their senses.
