Materials:
Different lengths ribbons/cloth
Scissors (or can rip with hands)
Paper
Glue or tape
Instructions:
Have different lengths of ribbons
Ask children to compare and contrast: are the patterns the same? Which ribbon is long, short, medium / big, small, medium?
Stick to make a shape, image, or christmas tree (whichever you prefer as teachers and a class).
OR
Together, trace one foot and one hand.
Then use lego blocks/stacking blocks to measure their foot and hand.
Compare which one is big and small.
Talk about the differences, what can we see, why is one bigger than the other.
Afterwards, children can decorate their traced foot and hand.
