Instructions:
We will be making paintings in pairs or groups of 3 that show something about ourselves. Each person can portray themselves in terms of what they like, what they are good at, or something about them and their family. Decorate it as you like!
While doing the painting, share what you are adding with your buddy and learn something about each other! Discuss how, what you add, makes the creation special, unique, and more vibrant with colors and details to see and talk about.
Encourage the child to add their name or picture in the place of the paper in which they did their creation.
Finally, we will add our creation to our Diversity Art Gallery in the outside classroom’s bulletin boards to share and see how everyone in Pathways is different and unique.
