What's Inside The Chilote?

Materials:

• Fresh baby corn (chilote) in husk

• Tray or basket

• Small bowls

Instructions:

• Invite students to observe and touch the baby corn.

• Ask questions to encourage students to describe what they see, feel, and discover inside.

• Model how to peel the husk using their fingers (pinch and pull).
