Materials:
Picture cards or real items of foods (fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese)
Bowls, spoons, and kitchen utensils
Paper and markers (optional for drawing the story)
A tray or mat
Instructions:
Place different food items or picture cards on a tray.
Tell children they are going to create a food story together.
Each child chooses a food and adds it to the story (e.g., “One day a banana went to the kitchen…”).
Children take turns adding foods and continuing the story.
Encourage them to describe the foods and what happens next.
Together we can write or draw parts of the story as we share our thoughts and stories.
