Bubble Snakes

Instructions:

  1. Get your materials: Recycled plastic bottles, an old sock, rubber bands (box), liquid dish soap, and large adult scissors or sharp knife to cut.

  2. Cut off the bottoms of the plastic bottle

  3. Cut off the bottom part of a sock (toes)

  4. Wrap sock around bottom of cut plastic bottle and seal with a rubber band or two

  5. Make bubble solution with liquid soap and a little bit of water (a few drops) in a shallow plate or recipient. Mix!

  6. Dip sock into bubble solution and blow from opposite end and watch bubbles appear!

Optional challenge:

  1. What else can I make a snake with? (funnel, tube around the house, etc?)
