Instructions:

• Listen to the read-aloud in our pawdcast or watch the video on our website.

• Have fun listening and talking with your child about the book. 

• Feel free to pause at any point and discuss the book

• Listen to the story,  as many times as the student wants!

Powerful InterACTions:

• Notice - The first step is paying attention to what the child is interested in. 

• Respond - Offer help or acknowledge what they are doing.  

• Name it - Help your child name what they are focused on.

• Keep it going - Give the child a chance to respond.  

• Is your child moving on to something new in the book?  - I see you are wondering about this now…
