How can you create a gratitude mobile?

Obj. 7a, 9a, 9d

Instructions:

  1. Converse with an adult about gratitude. What does it mean? What comes to your mind and from your heart as you talk about gratitude?

  2. Gather your materials for your gratitude mobile: scissors, beads, 1 stick, beads, yarn, coloring utensils, wire and small cut out circles of thick paper.

  3. Use a piece of yarn tied to both ends of the stick to make the gratitude mobile easy to hang.

  4. Decide how many hanging wires of gratitude you want to include ( you may need an adult to help you cut and place the wire)

  5. The cut out circles of thick paper can be decorated and put at the bottom of the strings when finished, or used however else you imagine them.

  6. Have fun creating and being grateful.

  7. Hang the gratitude mobile wherever you think is best.

Enrichment:

  1. Draw a story about gratitude.
