Instructions:

1. Watch or listen to the story, “Green Eggs and Ham” at least three times.

2. Each time you watch or listen, discuss what you understand is happening and how it makes you feel.

3. Go Deeper: Talk about a time you did not want to try something different and end up liking it.

4. Focus on the rhymes on each page.

InterACTions:

• Can you tell me what happened in the story?

• Why do you think Sam did not like green eggs and ham? Have you ever felt that way? Let’s talk about it.

• What happens at the middle of the story?

• How did the story end?

• Who is the main character?

• Did you hear these two words? They sound alike at the end. That is a rhyme. Can you help me identify more rhymes?

• Can you come up with your own rhyme?

• Let’s make a drawing and add details about the story on it.
