Oil on the Top or Bottom?

Instructions:

1. Gather your materials:

   1. Food coloring and dropper (learning kit)

   2. 1 cup water

   3. 1 cup oil (vegetable)

   4. ½ cup 70% alcohol (can buy at a super or pharmacy)

   5. 2 glass, clear cups

   6. 1 measuring cup

2. In one glass cup add ½ cup water then slowly add ½ cup oil. Observe.

3. In another glass cup add ½ cup oil then slowly add ½ cup alcohol. Observe

4. Mix the remaining ½ cup water with food coloring. Add it into the mixtures with the dropper. Observe.
