Instructions:

  1. Watch the read-aloud by clicking the video icon!

  2. When you hear a pause you are invited to make the sound that goes along with the story.

  3. Close your eyes and imagine you are part of the story.

  4. Listen as many times as the student wants!

  5. Find ways to make all the sound effects in the story and record them to Flipgrid.

Optional Enrichment: Try to make your own story and describe each sound. Record on Flipgrid

InterACTions:

    • Notice - The first step is paying attention to what the child is interested in.

    • Respond - Offer help or acknowledge what they are doing.

    • Name it - Help your child name what they are focused on.

    • Keep it going - Give the child a chance to respond.
